Sam Grigg
Originally from Melbourne, the self-proclaimed home of the flat white, Sam's coffee career began in the high mountains of central Vietnam. Sam has already lived and worked in some of the most beautiful countries in the coffee-producing world, such as India and Colombia, where he coordinated the exports of a large coffee trader. For List + Beisler, he works out of Miami and is using his strategic acumen and bags of enthusiasm to press ahead with the expansion of the North American market. Sam is aware of the often less than ideal conditions of the farmers in the coffee producing countries, yet he is and remains an idealist. Therefore, he is assuming responsibility as a board member of a leading NGO and providing small and medium-sized coffee farms in origin countries with sustainable funding. But his tendencies for world improvement don't stop there: he never tires in his attempts to educate us in the difference between rugby and Aussie Rules football. Now that's true passion!

Today, Cielo supports our Trade Team in Miami by managing all things logistics.
An avid athlete, especially in swimming, Cielo was once part of Colombia's National Swimming Team. Along with sport, she enjoys baking and traveling the world with her family, specially if the road takes her to her beloved Italy.

Daniela Altamirano
Daniela was born surrounded by coffee, coming from a family dedicated to farming and roasting coffee in Mexico. As much as she loves her natal home of Mexico City, she is a Hamburger at heart, having grown up in the beautiful hanseatic city.
She studied Foreign Trade in Hamburg, where she delved into the world of green coffee trading and quality control. She became a certified Arabica Q-Grader in 2019 and moved to NYC before settling in Miami, where she now supports our Trade team at List + Beisler USA.
Besides coffee, Daniela love sports—anything with a ball is her game, whether it's tennis, squash, golf, or volleyball. When she's not perfecting her swing or serve, she enjoys spending time in the presence of her Blue Merle Goldendoodle, who responds to the name of Schnitzel.

Dylan Thome
From misty mornings in Seattle to sun-soaked afternoons in Miami, Dylan's journey has always been guided by his love for coffee, community, and hospitality. Coffee has led him across the United States—from Seattle to Miami—as well as to Buenos Aires, Argentina, where he not only enjoyed asados and brushed up on his Spanish, but he also found love and got married there!
Right after university, where he studied Business Administration, he pursued one of his dreams: opening a drive-thru espresso stand. The experience cemented his love for the service industry and deepened his appreciation for coffee's unique ability to connect people from all walks of life.
Over the years, Dylan has worked as a barista, bar manager, quality control manager, production roaster, educator, coffee buyer, and business owner. Today, he leads our Quality Control & Lab Management at L+B USA, supporting supplier partnerships and customer relationships with a focus on excellence, transparency, and continuous improvement. In addition to his business expertise, he is an Authorized SCA Trainer, a Q Arabica Grader since 2016, a Q-Instructor, and a CQI Post-Harvest Processing Professional and Assistant Instructor.
He regularly brews with a Kalita or V60—but he'll never turn down a beautifully pulled espresso. Coffee aside, Dylan enjoys jazz and hip hop and loves to travel. As a sensory professional, he delights in exploring new food and drinks as well as experimenting in the kitchen at home with his family, two cats, and an argumentative dachshund named Mocca. His guilty pleasure? Bean-to-bar chocolate!

Miguel has coffee in his blood. Born and raised in a coffee farming family in Honduras, he perfectly understands each step in the green coffee value chain, from farming up to the roaster's gate. Adding to his passion for coffee, he has a second love for data and analytics. This combination makes him an excellent asset to the team. Before working as a trader with List + Beisler, he accumulated vast knowledge in other international businesses in the food and beverage industry. He enjoys traveling, reading good books, and exploring the oceans as a diver.
