Sam Grigg
Originally from Melbourne, the self-proclaimed home of the flat white, Sam's coffee career began in the high mountains of central Vietnam. Sam has already lived and worked in some of the most beautiful countries in the coffee-producing world, such as India and Colombia, where he coordinated the exports of a large coffee trader. For List + Beisler, he works out of Miami and is using his strategic acumen and bags of enthusiasm to press ahead with the expansion of the North American market. Sam is aware of the often less than ideal conditions of the farmers in the coffee producing countries, yet he is and remains an idealist. Therefore, he is assuming responsibility as a board member of a leading NGO and providing small and medium-sized coffee farms in origin countries with sustainable funding. But his tendencies for world improvement don't stop there: he never tires in his attempts to educate us in the difference between rugby and Aussie Rules football. Now that's true passion!

Jason Remmer
Jason's story begins in the hard-working farming town of High River in Alberta, Canada. With a degree in Business and International Trade, he found himself captivated by coffee early in his career. Fast-forward, he has now over 30 years of experience in the industry.
His path began in Portland, Oregon, where he worked in a roastery and learn to roast and cup. His curiosity was piqued by the chemistry of roasting—how coffee's flavor transforms with time and temperature. He then spent six years immersed in the world of decaffeinated coffee, eagerly sharing his insights on different decaffeination methods with roasters across the U.S. From there, he entered the green coffee sector, working with a green coffee importer in Portland and San Diego. Today, he brings this extensive knowledge to List + Beisler, where he supports our U.S. team in sales and business development.
Coffee has taken Jason across 33 countries, with some of his favorites being Thailand, India, Italy, and Spain. When he is not traveling or visiting bustling cafés on the hunt for the perfect macchiato, he likes spending his time cooking, reading about history and current events, watching history documentaries, and spending quality time outdoors among the cool ocean breeze that Florida has to offer.

When meeting Gunnar expect the unexpected: he grew up on an island in the North Sea, but ended up on the other side of the world right after high school, spending a year in Australia including desert and exotic animals. Once he returned from down under, he chose big city life in Hamburg to start training in business forwarding and logistics. Gunnar has sent quite a few commodities throughout the world along his career path. Just before joining List + Beisler he even sent himself to Tanzania for a few months.
Looking for a long-established company paired with Hanseatic values, he arrived in the beautiful warehouse district Speicherstadt at List + Beisler, handling our transit and export business. Daniela was born surrounded by coffee, coming from a family dedicated to farming and roasting coffee in Mexico. As much as she loves her natal home of Mexico City, she is a Hamburger at heart, having grown up in the beautiful hanseatic city.
She studied Foreign Trade in Hamburg, where she delved into the world of green coffee trading and quality control. She became a certified Arabica Q-Grader in 2019 and moved to NYC before settling in Miami, where she now supports our Trade team at List + Beisler USA.
Besides coffee, Daniela love sports—anything with a ball is her game, whether it's tennis, squash, golf, or volleyball. When she's not perfecting her swing or serve, she enjoys spending time in the presence of her Blue Merle Goldendoodle, who responds to the name of Schnitzel.

Barbara Jordan
Hailing from the sunny landscapes of Arizona, Barbara has experienced coffee in many different facets. She has almost a decade of experience across the supply chain, having worked as barista and cafe manager, to being a lead educator and head roaster. Yet, it was the art of roasting what truly got her heart and made her fall in love with coffee in all its forms. Following her training in the field and role as head roaster, she obtained the Arabica Q Grader certification and led coffee training programs in the rural south of Arizona.
Recently, she made the bold move to change the picturesque scenes of Arizona for the sunny shores of Miami, where she joined our team as Coffee Trader and Q Arabica Grader. Barbara is also a student at heart and has a love for learning and growth. She aspires to continue her studies within coffee and beyond to continue on a path to refining her skills.
Besides coffee, Barbara enjoys art, photography, and writing. And even as a desert dweller, she finds herself enjoying Miami's beaches more and more.
